A complete refurbishment took place in this Brooklyn-inspired coffee shop. The once-Indian restaurant was stripped back to its bones, revealing its raw materials and industrial structure. Central to the design concept was the industrial New York loft. The age of the building was embraced through the exposition of steel beams and imperfect brickwork.
The classic, retro vibe is characterised by bold designs and bright motifs. Soft, brown leather is used in contrast, bringing an element of comfort and class to the space. The bespoke, oak embellished, the metro-tiled bar also brings style and practicality.
Paying homage to New York street culture, the steel beams were painted New York taxi yellow, and a bespoke coffee table in the shape of the legendary Nas Illmatic album was commissioned.
